Please Save the date for our next member event on April 21st at The Cape Girardeau Public Library from 11:30 AM -1:00 PM. The topic for this member meeting is Planned Giving Bootcamp with Kent LeVan. This Planned Giving Bootcamp will provide the basics of the most common types of planned gifts, offer tips on how to identify and cultivate likely planned giving prospects, and share ideas for how to strategically plan for an effective planned giving program.

About the Speaker: Kent LeVan, a Cape Girardeau native, has worked in the field of planned giving for thirty years and currently serves as the Executive Director of Planned Giving at Saint Louis University. During the university’s $500 million Accelerating Excellence campaign scheduled to conclude later this year, he secured over $65 million in planned and major gift commitments. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from Saint Louis University and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant. He has twice served on the board of the Saint Louis Planned Giving Council and as Council President from 2015 to 2016, and received the Council’s Founders Award in 2011.
